How to make the Baileys After Eight cocktail
This warm dessert cocktail is ready in less than 15 minutes!
Make the cocoa/milk mixture

Mix the cocoa powder and sugar with 3 tablespoons of the cold milk. A small whisk makes this job easy.
Mixing the two before heating the milk allows the cocoa powder to blend well into the warm milk.

Whip the cream and set it aside. You can use aerosol or pre-made whipped cream if you would like, to save time.
Heat the milk and add the cocoa

Heat the remainder of the milk in a heat-safe bowl for 1-2 minutes.
Add the cocoa and sugar mixture to the heated milk and heat for another 30 seconds or so. Stir very well to ensure the cocoa is combined into the milk.
Note: Microwaves vary in temperature. The milk should be hot but not scalding.
Add the Baileys Irish Cream
Pour the Baileys into heat-resistant glasses.

Add the heated chocolate/milk mixture over the Baileys Irish Cream.
Garnish with whipped cream and marshmallows

Add a scoop of the whipped cream and sprinkle 5 mini marshmallows on each drink. Garnish with more cocoa powder to finish the After Eight cocktail, and serve immediately.

If you’re a big baileys fan, this has to be one of the best drinks that you’ll ever taste in your life. The BBC or Bailey’s banana Colada cocktail will have you lining up for more at the bar. Be careful not to over do it though as more than one could have you getting a little tipsy!
Here’s the recipe for the BBC drink so that you can make it at home and enjoy it with your own memories of Grenada or to demonstrate to your friends that the BBC really is an excellent drink.
2 bananas cut into chunks 6 fl oz of banana liquer 6 fl oz of Bailey’s Irish Cream liqueur 6 fl oz of coconut cream Crushed ice
Now all you have to do is add the bananas to the blender with the banana liqueur. Blend them together until smooth. Now add the Irish cream and then the coconut cream and blend.
You may want to be sure to have allowed the coconut cream to reach room temperature otherwise it could be tricky to blend. Now, add the ice and blend again until it’s smooth.
Pour your drink into a tall glass with a straw. Now sit back and close your eyes and imagine yourself on our verandah looking out to the Grenadines. Cheers….
