Bailey’s Irish Cream After 8 Cocktail

I have not yet tried a cocktail recipe which contains Bailey’s Irish cream that I do not like. This Baileys Irish Cream After 8 Cocktail is thick and creamy and great to serve as a dessert cocktail.Baileys Irish Cream After 8 Cocktail

Making an After 8 Cocktail

I originally found this recipe on a Swedish site called Signed by Tina . Since my readers also love Bailey’s Irish Cream, I thought you would enjoy it too.

The drink combines Bailey’s with cocoa powder, granulated sugar, milk, marshmallows and double cream.  Serve it for cocktail hour or dessert. The choice is yours! You don’t even have to wait until 8 o’clock to enjoy it!

For another drink featuring Bailey’s Irish Cream, see the International Incident Martini here.

If you’re a big baileys fan, this has to be one of the best drinks that you’ll ever taste in your life. The BBC or Bailey’s banana Colada cocktail will have you lining up for more at the bar. Be careful not to over do it though as more than one could have you getting a little tipsy!

Here’s the recipe for the BBC drink so that you can make it at home and enjoy it with your own memories of Grenada or to demonstrate to your friends that the BBC really is an excellent drink.

      2 bananas cut into chunks
6 fl oz of banana liquer
6 fl oz of Bailey’s Irish Cream liqueur
6 fl oz of coconut cream
      Crushed ice

Now all you have to do is add the bananas to the blender with the banana liqueur. Blend them together until smooth. Now add the Irish cream and then the coconut cream and blend.

You may want to be sure to have allowed the coconut cream to reach room temperature otherwise it could be tricky to blend. Now, add the ice and blend again until it’s smooth.

Pour your drink into a tall glass with a straw. Now sit back and close your eyes and imagine yourself on our verandah looking out to the Grenadines. Cheers….
