- ¼ cup of tomato juice
- 1 ½ ounces vodka
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ¾ teaspoon grated horseradish
- 3 dashes hot pepper sauce (add more to taste)
- A pinch of sea salt
- 1 dash freshly ground black pepper
- 1 ½ cups ice cubes
- ¼ teaspoon fresh lemon juice

How to make this spicy Bloody Mary cocktail
Most cocktail recipes are much easier to make than one might think and the Bloody Mary is no exception.
To start, you’ll want to salt the rim of your glass. Put some sea salt to a plate and run a lemon wedge around the rim of your glass to moisten it. Turn the glass upside down and swirl it on the plat with the salt.
Once the glass has been prepared with the salted rim, fill the glass with ice and set it aside.
Combine all of the cocktail ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
Give it a really good shake to mix the ingredients well, and chill them. Then use a Hawthorne strainer to strain the drink into your prepared glass.

Bloody Mary Recipe - Spicy Cocktail for National Bloody Mary Day
This spicy bloody Mary cocktail is perfect for a weekend brunch or a hangover cure.
Any vodka drinker who enjoys a little bit of heat will love this recipe.
Ingredients
- ¼ cup of tomato juice
- 1 ½ ounces vodka
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ¾ teaspoon grated horseradish
- 3 dashes hot pepper sauce (add more to taste)
- A pinch of sea salt
- 1 dash freshly ground black pepper
- 1 ½ cups ice cubes
- ¼ teaspoon fresh lemon juice
To garnish:
- Sea salt
- 1 stalk celery
- 1 lemon wedge
- 1 green olive
Instructions
- Salt the rim of a tall glass by pouring salt onto a small plate, moistening the rim of the glass with a lemon wedge and pressing the rim of the glass into the salt.
- Add the ice to the glass.
- Pour in the tomato juice, vodka, Worcestershire sauce, horseradish, hot sauce and salt and pepper to a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Give everything a good shake for several seconds.
- Strain this bloody Mary mixture into the prepared glass.
- Sprinkle lemon juice over it and garnish with the celery stalk, a green olive, and a lemon wedge. Serve immediately.
