The Colors of the Witches Brew Halloween Cocktail
This Witches Brew cocktail not only tastes great, it has a spooky look to it that will delight your party going guests and put them in a great mood.
Decorating and using themed food for Halloween is one of the really fun parts of the holiday. All rules are out when it comes to getting ready for this spooky season. Try these Mummy truffles to go along with this witches brew cocktail. They make a great compliment.
Halloween is not always all about the color orange. There are lots of other ways to set the mood for a Halloween party. Think dark colors like purple, blue and black to set a spooky mood.
For this drink, I’m using Blue Curacao to give the drink a great color and the black sanding sugar coating for the glass says “Halloween” in style! It is sort of like a Margarita on Halloween steriods!
This Witches Brew Halloween cocktail is pure fun. Great to put you in the mood for the trick or treaters that will show up at your door. This is a drink just for the grown up goblins in your house! All of your party guests will be asking you for the recipe.
Making this Witches Brew Cocktail
This drink could not be easier to make. It takes just minutes. Start by pouring equal portions of vodka, triple sec and curacao into a shaker over cracked ice.
Chill a martini glass then then coat the rim of a glass with lime and then rub it into some black sanding sugar (black sprinkles also work just fine if you don’t have the sugar crystals.)
Shake the cocktail shaker well and then strain into the rimmed martini glass and enjoy. Easy, peasy and it is as much fun watching the drink come together as it is to drink it.
Having a party? No ghoulish guest will go thirsty at your Halloween fun with this delightful Halloween drink. And be sure to concoct a kid-friendly version of the beverage so the kiddies won’t be left out of the fun.
